TratosMichele S. Tratos, D.D.S.

Born in Utah, Dr. Tratos grew up in Las Vegas and finds it rewarding to treat patients in the community she calls home. Dr. Tratos achieved her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree at the University of the Pacific dental school in 1985. Prior to that, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. Dr. Tratos is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Southern Nevada Dental Society, and the Las Vegas Study Club. Dr. Tratos was on the cover of Las Vegas Life in 2001 as a top dentist and has since been consistently named top dentist.

Among her peers, Dr. Tratos has earned a reputation for her advanced technical skill, exceptional treatment planning, and professional decision-making. She stays current on the newest dental treatments and tailors dental care to best meet the needs of each patient. Dr. Tratos likes to have fun and appreciates the support of her professional staff. Together, they create a calm, soothing dental environment. Her caring, upbeat approach, as well as her chairside singing, puts patients at ease throughout the dental treatment process. Relationships with people bring fulfillment to her work as a dentist, and she enjoys learning about her patients on an individual level.


Shamane – Office Administrator

Shamane joined our team in early 2017, but she has been in dentistry for 20 years, and she loves every aspect of it, especially her fun teammates and the family atmosphere everyone brings. Shamane brings her own positive, can-do attitude to the team and makes every day an adventure.

Shamane went to school for forensic science. She has been married to her handsome husband, JD, for 23 years, and they have a dog, Halo. In her free time, Shamane enjoys watching movies, traveling, and going to the park.


Reneé – Front Office

Reneé has been a part of our practice since October 2006. She loves being able to see our patients who are brought in as children grow and mature, and then to see their own children brought into the office. To Reneé, one of the best things about her job is being able to keep seeing our wonderful patients. Reneé enjoys being able to help our patients receive the complete treatment they need and leave our office with a positive experience.

In her free time, Reneé loves to read, scrapbook, and cross stitch.


Janelle – Business Assistant

Janelle has been in dentistry since 1997, and an important part of our team since 2013. She is a great asset! She is a certified health coach and wellness ambassador. As our business assistant, she supports our entire team in their work and is willing to tackle any problem that may arise. Janelle loves being able to help make a difference in the smiles and lives of our patients. Janelle is one of 6 kids, and she grew up on a ranch/farm, which she considers to be the best way to grow up! She is also a Jill of all trades. In her free time, she loves hiking, making jewelry, and dabbling in a variety of crafts.


Shaylyn – Sterilization Technician

Shaylyn joined our team working at the front desk before transitioning to the back office as a sterilization technician. She enjoys that each day is a learning opportunity for everyone at our office, and helps as much as she can in order for our dentist and team to successfully complete their work.

Shaylyn is currently working towards her degree in nursing. She is thankful for her parents, who support her in everything she does. She also has an older sister and an older brother. Her hobbies include playing basketball, shopping, and working out.
